Behind the Scenes at Brock High School: The Unspoken Heroes

Well, we're back! The Kari-Lea Show has hereby launched its 4th season! We thank you for your patience during our unexpected hiatus. We couldn't be more excited to have you back!

For our very special season premiere we will be unveiling our newest segment entitled Zero or Hero? for your personal enjoyment. To kickstart this new feature, Kari-Lea has scoured the globe for heroes and unheroes, in order to answer the age-old question , "what makes a hero?".

Recently, Kari-Lea was fortunate to be invited behind the scenes at Brock High School where she was privy to an entirely new perspective. She was permitted to walk with the shredders of the paper, the keepers of the money, the masters of the PA, and the goddesses of the telephone. She walked with the secretaries of Brock High School.
For the first time ever, Kari-Lea provides fans with an inside look into the lives of these busy ladies. In the first of two segments, she met up with Lindsay, Judi, and a very lucky contest winner, Ken Eaton. Ken was the winner of a recent VP For A Day Contest and Kari-Lea was on the scene to talk with him about his experience. He appeared to be bursting when he said, "this is one of my greatest experiences ever. I have discovered a happiness that I never knew existed. This beats my days of college poker for sure. I don't know what else to say!"

It was difficult to meet up with Lindsay and Judi due to the overwhelming demands that they face on any given day. Judi, for example, had just come off a successful triple P.A., and while anyone else would end their day there, Judi managed to complete a rigorous afternoon with little trouble at all. She described her job as "a joy" and attributed downhill skiing, of all things, to her success in the workplace. In addition, Judi manages to prepare quality lunches in the privacy of her home for the following work day. Judi's commitment and forethought make her a HERO to the staff and students of Brock High School.

Lindsay endures an equally challenging schedule. Aside from sliding on gravel, Lindsay participates in a number of extracurricular activities including tent rentals and party planning that contribute to her performance in the workplace. She operates the bell precisely on schedule and avoids any and all redundancy in her telephone conversations. She is quick to refund money to all those who she deems worthy, and she has experienced great success in reminding students to "press 9 and then dial the number." Through all of her interactions on an average Brock day, Lindsay has proven herself to be a HERO of Brock High School.

Our glimpse into the lives behind the scenes at Brock will not end here. We will be meeting up with Mrs. Paul and Trudi in the coming days as we continue our investigation into the HEROES of Brock High School.

We at The Kari-Lea Show would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Paul for allowing us to follow the office events for the past little while. We look forward to talking with her and Trudi about what it means to be a hero. And also, a big thank you to Ken, Lindsay, and Judi for their insightful insight and their candidness. We'll have more from our interviews with them in the near future! Stay Tuned!

And there you have it!
This is Kari-Lea signing off...
